Only wish there were more stars to give them. These people know what they are doing. I have used them four times now.Most recently, we had a leak in our three-seasons room. The original owner that we bought the house from told us it leaked since day one, years before. It took Dale less than five minutes on the roof to identify that the wrong skylights had been used and they were also installed incorrectly. They ordered the correct skylights and put on a new membrane roof. The room is now dry.They were timely, friendly and left the site neat and clean. All at a very fair price. Very happy with the services from Smart Roofing! Both Tom and Dale were great to work with from start to finish. My older home had some challenges and Dale came onsite and spent an hour and a half working through a plan to address my needs and explained options along the way ( I had other estimates and nobody else focused on getting to the bottom of the problem). Dale was very patient and addressed any questions or concerns I had. Dale and his team stayed late to get the roof done and cleaned up everything as well. I decided to get a quote from Dale at Smart Roofing because his uncle installed a high quality roof for my family many years ago. Of the three quotes I received, I decided to have Smart Roofing replace my shingles since Dale was the only contractor who took the time to personally inspect my roof and attic. Dale discovered problems with my roof that I was unaware of. Although he was slightly more expensive, I felt the additional cost was justified since Dale was very knowledgeable about shingle replacement, thoroughly explaining the methods he uses and why, he found the problems and offered cost effective solutions for the problems I was unaware of. Dale recommended that I install Certainteed Northgate class 4 shingles which qualifies me for a $90.00 yearly deduction in the cost of my homeowner's insurance. Dale and his crew arrived on time. He took the time to answer my questions during the removable and installation process. Dale and his crew completed my house and shed roof replacement in one day. His crew did an excellent job cleaning up. I highly recommend Dale and his company.

We had storm damage due to snow. These guys were quick to answer during a busy time. Not only were they quick and responsive they were so knowledgeable in their craft. Consulted us with the work that needed to be done and worked with our insurance company to get the money we needed to make all the repairs. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from Dale Smart. I called him bcs we developed a leak in the roof due to ice damning in this WI weather. He responded to my call same day, then came out in the evening to assess situation and had advice for us on how to handle the problem. Dale was kind and extremely patient with our concern, giving us time to answer all of our questions. He then came out the next day with his crew to remove snow off the roof, giving the problem area special attention. He will be back once snow is gone to fix the leak. We could not be more pleased with the care and expertise with which he handled the problem.

Dale and his team tore off two layers of shingles and installed a new roof including a special sheet to prevent water damage due to ice build up. I definitely recommend Smart Roofing.My only suggestion is to make sure to get whatever receipts and/or paperwork you need before they leave. I really needed an invoice for my home owners insurance, which I was assured I would be emailed. However, I have still not received one after a couple weeks, even after emailing a reminder about it. Luckily was able to work it out with insurance to prove work was completed. It worked out in the end so I don't hold it against them. I know they are crazy busy!

Although the other roofing contractors were slightly less expensive, we were willing to pay extra because Dale Smart would work with his customers. It was definitely worth the investment. We had many shingles throughout the roof that had blown off during high winds. Dale came out to inspect and give an estimate on the roof. Following the inspection, he offered to caulk all the exposed nail holes in the cold of winter without charge although we didn't sign a contract with him yet. That is customer service! In addition, he worked with our insurance to try to get the best reimbursement. Most importantly, Dale worked tirelessly with his crew on the job throughout the entire roof replacement to get the job done on time. Dale and his crew are so incredibly hardworking that they worked on the weekend and in unexpected rain. During the entire process, Dale was in constant communication with us, was very professional, came everyday on time, and worked with us to make everything right. At the end of the job, Dale even took the time to seal some leaky gutters, caulked exposed areas of wood on the soffit, and adjusted a few gutters at no additional cost. Our new roof looks amazing and we highly recommend Smart Roofing!

Dale Jr. came out right away to help us after we found water leaking into our kitchen from the roof. Found out it was the bracket holding the telephone and electric wires pulling out from the roof and the hole where the mount goes was the little hole where water was leaking in after a storm. He pounded it back in and caulked it up for us and surveyed our entire roof and gave us estimates and valuable information on what we can do going forward to repair and get a new roof in the future. Were put on the schedule for work to be completed within 6 weeks of order. They came 5 days later as an opening was available. A fantastic, hard working, polite and respectful crew, got everything completed and cleaned up in 2 and a half days. And that included a severe rain/hail storm, but everything was secured and nothing damaged. Dale Jr you are the best and you show how much you care for your working crew. Tom did a great job presenting everything to us, and follow up. You should be proud of your family company. We'll be in touch.

We had a sewer vent pipe seal leak during recent rain storms. Tried several companies around here and I guess the job was too small as I did not get one single return call. I texted Smart Roofing late morning today , and they showed up at 1:00 pm. Inspected the vent and put a new seal on it. Smart roofing just completed two jobs on my commercial properties. They installed asphalt roof on apartment and did a rubber roofrepair on the commercial property. He beat the winter in December and did a good job and noticed some other items that needed to be addressed that if we're not addressed would be a issue. I have used smart roofing now at least 4 times, and every time has been good experience.

Dale and crew are awesome. They fixed about forty years of problems. I have a shallow pitched roof and it had very poor ventilation, to the point there was a haze in the attic. Now the attic is dry and breathing great. Past owners must have had issues but the contractor they hired didn’t fix a thing, they only got new shingles. I highly recommend Smart roofing. Great price, excellent workmanship, on time and clean.

I have used Smart Roofing for roof replacement and attic insulation. Work was done quickly and with great care. These are people who care about their customers and will go out of their way to answer all questions before they start a job. Never a hard sell! I called last winter with concerns about ice buildup on the roof. Dale came over within the hour. He cheerfully inspected the entire roof and removed some chunks of ice from the gutter. Temp was around 10°.

i would recommend Smart Roofers to anyone looking to replace their roof and/or gutters. They are very reasonable and efficient. The two day project included 2 layer removal of the roof on both house and detached garage, removal of old gutters and replacement of new roof and gutters on both. The employees were very polite and professional. They were very efficient in cleaning and removing any debris that was involved with their work on the property. I highly recommend them!!!

I am a new homeowner and just found out there was a leak in my roof. Called Dale Jr., he came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me a great quote. He is professional and beyond personable. He communicated throughout the whole process and made everything that much easier for a first time home owner. Once I settled on a shingle color, he told me the approximate time they were going to start and I was shocked as to how quick they are compared to other estimates. He came over a day early, finished my garage and then finished my house the day after. They did an amazing job and the roof looks amazing. He will work with you to make sure that all little details (chimney knockdown, vent removal/installations, gutter pitch) are perfect and what you want! He was on the job each day and his crew was great too! They did a great job cleaning up the site completely. I would highly recommend you give Smart Roofing a call for your roofing needs, you wont be disappointed!
