While doing the job, they took down some bee hives that they noticed on the top of the house. Dale Smart Sr. and his son and their employees are wonderful. I had work done by another company and was not satisfied with it, so I contacted Smart Roofing and Sheet Metal. They came out and worked on the problem until they had it fixed, they were very pleasant. I am so happy with the quality work Smart Roofing and Sheet Metal did for me. Before, I had a roof that leaked like crazy, and built in gutters that no one could fix. When I was first looking for a roofing contractor, the other companies said I needed a new roof immediately, or it wouldn’t last through the winter. I picked up Smart Roofing’s name through a friend of mine who had also been very pleased with his roof.
Dale Sr. came over, and gave the straight scoop, and advised me that a few quick repairs would prolong the life of my roof 3 to 5 years. At the time, a 200 dollar fix was more up my alley.

Five years later, I gave him a call and said it was time.

Dale Sr. and his crew came and knocked the roof out in a week. They worked very efficiently and all the guys are very polite. Clean-up was exceptional.
A few years later I wanted to update all the trim on my house and keep it historically accurate. I called Dale Sr., and they did it for me. They custom bent all the sheet metal to follow the original Italianate Woodwork. It was during this time when I met Dale Jr. and his crew Cory and Rob.

That following summer, Dale Jr. and his crew came out and custom painted all the trim around my windows, doors, and soffits. These guys worked every Saturday and Sunday for a couple weeks and gave me an awesome job.

We bought our house from the original owners. It was built as a honeymoon cottage. When we needed a new roof, Smart Roofing had done the roof on our son’s house. They were very respectful and did a good job with our roof. They were diligent workers, and a bunch of jokers. They worked hard, and even stayed longer than they were supposed to the last day to finish the job.
